Living Semantic Platform – a tool for collaborative ontology development

We are pleased to announce the availability of our Living Semantic Platform in January 2015.

The Living Semantic Platform enables the collaborative development and maintenance of OWL2 ontologies. We focus on lightweight ontologies complying to the OWL2-QL profile. Data from external data sources such as SQL databases, Excel files, PDF files or XML files can be easily integrated into the ontologies. The embedded OWL2-QL reasoner allows for a high-performance query answering of http://www.w3.org/TR/sparql11-query/SPARQL queries – even with large amounts of data.
