Application Procedure

We aim for a quick and uncomplicated application process in which we, together with you, find out whether you are suited to our organisation and the position.

The period from the time of application until the final hiring is usually around 2-4 weeks. If we are unable to offer you a suitable position, we will keep your application in our pool of candidates for six months and stay in regular contact with you during this time.

    Apply online or send your application via email to our Human Resources department fro the attention of Mr Willy Chen (working [at] softplant.de), and you will promptly receive a short notice of receipt.

  • Check Your Documents

    The Human Resources department, working together with the relevant specialist department, checks your documents.

  • Interview

    We invite you to interviews, where you have the opportunity to meet your managers and get to know your future colleagues and responsibilities. In addition, you get an insight into your future work environment.

Starting With Us and Further Development – This Is How We Stay on the Ball

Introductory Phase

From your very first day at Softplant onwards, you will be learning a lot of new information. So that you can settle in in the best way possible and learn your way around your new workplace, a mentor will be available during your introductory phase, which is usually around 2-4 months, whom you can ask any questions. He or she will help you to settle in to our team and familiarise yourself with your future responsibilities.

Feedback & Further Development

You will receive feedback on your work from the team during regular retrospective meetings. A main topic within theses meetings is your feedback to the project managers as well. Together with partners and managers we will discuss and plan your increasing responsibilities within customer projects. Furthermore, you actively organize your own professional training. Experienced colleagues will provide necessary support und consultancy. Professional trainings include on-the-job training, self-study as well as internal and external seminars.

Work Environment & Teamwork

A variety of modern information- and communications tools are provided to you for you to use in your day-to-day work, such as our internal knowledge portal, the Softplant wiki or our internal instant messenger.

Even in the age of the iPad and the e-book, from our perspective, there is no substitute for classic specialist journals or books. Feel free to use the diverse, well-appointed and freely accessible range in our library. You can take books and magazines home to improve and deepen your knowledge of different topics.

You will get to know the whole Softplant team at team events (tobogganing, go-karting) held twice a year.
