In our article in the German specialist journal “Business Technology”, print-out 3.2017, we show that EAM is also relevant for small and medium-sized companies. In order to testify this, we’ve been introducing EAM to the German company “GS Elektromedizinische Geräte G. Stemple”. Done right, EAM can help small and medium-sized companies to deal with the challenge of digitalization. At this point, we look at the necessary changes in their entirety: organization, processes, technologies, law-abidance and, last but not least, further development of the involved players.

We are happy to announce release 2.0 of our Living EAM Platform. The new version includes several new features and also a number of improvements.
The new features are:
Geographic Visualisation: Using the new visualisation type “geolocation” you get a geographic overview of architecture elements that include location information with GPS coordinates. On a world map these locations are visualised based on the number of architecture elements.
Zoom within cluster maps: When using hierarchical cluster maps it is now possible, to interactively zoom into cluster elements.
Color schemes of visualisations: For a more convinient way of coloring your visualisations we now provde a standardized set of colors and an improved selection dialog.

Improved performance: By optimizing the loading process of the ontology the application has been improved.
Help for Living Semantic Platform: For any meta model change using the Living Semantic Platform we now provide help pages to support the usage of the application.

The initative “Das macht Schule” acts as a broker for the donation of used IT components to schools in Germany. This encourages students and their parents to more personal engagement and enables projects that would not have been possible otherwise.
With our donation of 15 computer monitors we are happy to be able to support the Franz-Liszt-Mittelschule in Waldkraiburg and their project in the context of a responsible use of media in the digital age.

User Management LDAP connection: You are now able to include an LDAP system or Active Directory as authentication provider for users. A combination of different authentication providers is possible.
Selective duplication of architecture elements: When duplicating existing architecture elements you are now able to individually select the assertions and annotations that should be duplicated from the original individual.
Optimized history of architecture elements: Historized architecture elements are now saved in a separate database location. This improvide the overall query answering performance.
