We focus on lightweight ontologies complying to the <a class=\"external-link-new-window\" title=\"OWL2 QL profile\" href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/owl2-profiles\/#OWL_2_QL\" target=\"_blank\">OWL2-QL <\/a><a class=\"external-link-new-window\" title=\"OWL2 QL profile\" href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/owl2-profiles\/#OWL_2_QL\" target=\"_blank\">profile<\/a>. Data from external data sources such as SQL databases, Excel files, PDF files or XML files can be easily integrated into the ontologies. The embedded OWL2-QL reasoner allows for a high-performance query answering of <a class=\"external-link-new-window\" title=\"SPARQL\" href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/sparql11-query\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/sparql11-query\/<\/a><a class=\"external-link-new-window\" title=\"SPARQL\" href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/sparql11-query\/\" target=\"_blank\">SPARQL queries<\/a> &#8211; even with large amounts of data.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about Living Semantic Platform, please go to <a class=\"external-link-new-window\" title=\"Living Semantic Platform\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.softplant.de\/wordpress\/en\/portfolio-item\/living-semantic-platform-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Living Semantic Platform<\/a>.
